   @yeti1989 M8 its the worst thing i ever bought its super slow.i done the same thing by spilling a shity little amount of water on my keyboard an it messed up the hole thing.worse laptop i ever owned….

   aw yeah i just removed the first laptop keyboard in my life never disassembled a laptop.
   i spilled a drink at it and i dont even remember when, it was just a little amount and managed to kill my entire keyboard ;/ never gonna buy acer again, the good thing is that keyboards cost around 5-15 pounds for this laptop

   I have an Aspire 9410, and would like to upgrade the cd drive. Do I have to take the whole laptop apart to do this or can I just take the bottom off? Thanks

    Excellent, helpful video. Works almost identically for Acer Extensa laptops also. If you don’t know enough about R&R of desktop (or laptop) parts though, you should probably not try the full treatment shown here. You might still be OK if you’re just removing some part for dusting or cleaning but if you can’t see what he’s doing at some points, get a very knowledgeable friend to help you out. Thanks for the excellent video, though!

    Once you follow this excellent video and can access the motherboard, look for a round silver battery, approximately the size of a nickel. Remove that and set aside for several hours or a day. Replace this BIOS battery and your CMOS should reset itself. Clean any fingerprints from the battery (alcohol) and return it to its place without putting your fingerprints or dirt on it. This SHOULD work. Good luck!

    iv got a dell the alienware kind..all i can say is that my friends acer core i7 laptop whooped mine 7 folds.. we bought it at the same price though, but his laptop is performing way better which really makes me sad..

    Oh it’s not worth to get pissed over Acer laptops. Acer replaced my touchpad and it sucks even more than the original one. At first, I opposed buying an Acer but my sis says, “Oh Acer lasts longer than Dell and it’s worth buying!”. Oh c’mon! Acer doesn’t even have a laptop that could be qualified to be put into comparison with the Dell XPS 16! By the time Acer comes up with quality products, Africa desert will snow…
