DO NOT SEND YOUR ACER COMPUTERS FOR REPAIR!!! i called acer to repair my screen, cuz i fukin smacked it hard enough to break it, and they said it’ll cost $200 to repair. i went on ebay, ordered a screen, and repaired it myself for $50. With shitty products comes shitty customer service. IF YOU BUY AN ACER, YOU BUY SHIT!!

@05MotoRazrV3 Well you obviously know nothing about Dell. Take a look at the Inspiron line on there website! 11.6 starts at $349 and 15 $399. OH And Vista sucks donkey dick! Oh wait I forget, it was a giant success!!! Thats why Windows 7 came out less than 2.5 years later, due to customer demand. Thats right, it was so great that Windows 7 makes your POS Dell 20% faster and closer to the XP speeds that were lost from Windows Vista. BTW the razr sucks by todays standards for phones too.
@agentd5417 Dells are not cheap. they can be over 2000 dollars and the only dell ive seen thats $300 is their netbook. i happen to have an inspiron 8500. its from 2003, and ive had no problems except the screen, but that was my fault. i put something very heavy on the lcd and now i have a white line across my screen. other that that,NO PROBLEMS. it also runs Vista. and vista is good too. dont reply to this comment saying Vista sucks either, because i will fight back.
@05MotoRazrV3 LoL!!! Are you kidding??? Do you know that the Inspiron line was rated the worst notebook of 2008? Give me a break! If you think an Inspiron is a good notebook I like to sell you some elephant repellant!
Ever think why an Acer or a Dell can start as low as $300? Maybe a little thing like cutting corners. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
@agentd5417 dells are tough as nails.they keep going. a good laptop would be a dell inspiron.
& all u other models suck Go with Sony or Dell they are the greatist ever known but if your willing to go the distance to find your Tech welcome rights get Compaq or toshiba they will blow your mind my unk got a HP twice from best buy and Wallmart it fell to pieces in his hand

well anyway my friend got the newist Aspire One and dam its gay it over heats it lags and it comes with W7 starter the vid card is dicent for its model but w7 starter dosent have areo so i had to put ultimate on the thing MAN ill tell u it went ALOT faster and dosent heat up as much and looks nice to
acers are now putting better stuff in them but shity ass processors overall acer sucks balls get an HP

listen guys the best thing you can do to get this company in serious shit is google the BBB(better buisness bearu.) if you make a complaint with them, they will contact acer and if they get enough complaints, acer could be shut down!

The thing with acer they use weak materials such as keyboard and screen holder but ther inside such as ram and stuff is very good. When we come to customer service they are cleary the worst i have 2 laptops 1 netbook and other notebok i bought the note book first as it got some problems and the customer souport treated me as shit. As 1 day my mother bought me a acer netbook which yesterday got a death pixel on the screen what i did was i didnt bother to call acer i took it back to the store
LoL! Dell is just as bad as ACER! Are you kidding? A good notebook would be Sony, Asus, Apple, the higher end HPs & Toshibas.
