Same thing here but this is on the new Acer notebook computer. I purchased this in late April this year with May being the arrival of this notebook. This was purchased from my college and this is the successful attempt. This was also the second time in having the attempt to purchase a new superior notebook. The previous attempt was purchasing a Lenovo notebook and that failed last time. Seems that I’m glad about this. Note: The sound card in this computer is missing some of the features other computers with the same sound card have but the video codec surely helps me out. Another thing is that the sound card is still by Realtek.
