    @RaptorRush1 There is only 1 graphics card available…

  2. RaptorRush1 says on: 3 September 2010 at 8:50 am

    do you have the default graphics card?

  3. TheOopsudied1000 says on: 3 September 2010 at 9:18 am

    @2merdrags i7 is best next to crossfire and intel xeon

  4. 2merdrags says on: 3 September 2010 at 9:28 am

    @Kawabic well the new asus laptop with the new 360m gts 1st class card with 2.5ghz i5 is the same price as m11x so i went with that. i know it has a low end i5 and i7 now but i think it is too pricey .

    @2merdrags
    I was deciding betwen the asus and the g60 for quite some time, and personally, i would rather go for the larger more powerful piece of hardware. But, is settled with the m11x because the size of the screen really isnt too much of a difference when playing on a laptop anyway. With the customization i got for my m11, it blows away asus’s machine.

    @Bookstop1337 at 11″ there is NOTHING that can touch this, and now you can get it in Core i5 and Core i7.. an i7 11″ notebook……

  7. 2merdrags says on: 3 September 2010 at 11:43 am

    @Bookstop1337 well there are many laptops that are similar priced. m11x is areound 1000$ with tax for c2d but 900 for the stock. the laptops with 260m gtx laptops are really cheap nowadays but are factory refurbished.

    @2merdrags

    I meant more price wise.. I’ve heard alienware computers are overpriced, and while they are good rigs, you can get similar machines for cheaper

    gamers need big screens. this is cool and all with portable gaming but now when you can get a huge more powerful laptop for $500 more.

  10. 2merdrags says on: 3 September 2010 at 12:37 pm

    @Bookstop1337 i dont fully understand your question. heres the deal, would you rather want something that will push out better performance in games or something that is portable and still able to play games with around 30fps. i mean if size id a concern then i guess this mis the way to go but if youre looking for butter smooth gaming, id rather go with another laptop, asus was just an example.

    @2merdrags

    So would you say it’s more economical to be using the asus? Sorry, I’m not extremely tech savvy..

  12. 2merdrags says on: 3 September 2010 at 12:59 pm

    @Bookstop1337 the G60 from asus is around 600 with c2d 2.4 and 260m gtx so this alienware is for ppl that like little things… which is pretty outrageous

    FAIL get a desktop pc……

    I own a fairly recent Asus G50 which is spec’d out to be quite a bit more potent than this Alienware, though my fiancĂ©e just bought one of these with Windows 7 Ultimate, 256GB SSD, SU7300 CPU, and 4GB DDR3 and I have to say I like it lot better than my Asus. The build quality is better, startup time is faster (less than 30 seconds!), battery life is amazing, and the Alienware command center is much better than Asus’ direct console. As an everyday laptop, the M11x is just nicer.

    @hazzaza1 mine was 1k and it’s a lot better than casual

  16. kkangandy08 says on: 3 September 2010 at 2:44 pm

    @Bookstop1337 but they are mostly 15.6″ models

  17. Bookstop1337 says on: 3 September 2010 at 3:09 pm

    @hazzaza1

    A custom asus could run me 600-700 and it would have hardware similar to this alienware : /
    Just my $ 0.02

  18. hazzaza1 says on: 3 September 2010 at 3:14 pm

    @Bookstop1337 lol? srsly? a ”good” notebook for casual gaming is usually ALOT more than $800

  20. nubix223 says on: 3 September 2010 at 4:12 pm

    @Bookstop1337 Hehe 800 is an awesome deal,
    1 it can play almost any game and run it smoothly
    2 Cheaper than a Mac(just sayin cause macs for me are used fo work and only work)

    @hardcorecrusher12
    thereis no drive and it can play all actual games at high settings but sometimes you have to disable aa and af but it doesnt really matter due to the small but very high resoluting display

  22. thomasAspalas says on: 3 September 2010 at 5:47 pm

    Mine arrives on April 6th, I want it so bad…

  23. Pieisforsk8ers says on: 3 September 2010 at 6:27 pm

    Well its either this laptop or an Asus G60Jx that has an i5 and? a GTS 360M graphics card, but it gets VERY hot from the reviews and it has a lot of errors like blue screens etc. The only thing making me want the Alienware is the LED’s, because I know the Asus outperforms it and I mostly keep my laptop plugged in other than maybe going around the house. Is anyone willing to help me out?

  24. roxasnobody9 says on: 3 September 2010 at 6:48 pm

  25. josepippo says on: 3 September 2010 at 7:08 pm
